Another race.

Ain't it cute? This little darling is a Faeriekin, a race comprised completely of females (although there is rumor that there's a special way to gain a male Faeriekin). They were conjured when an ancient king came across a crack in the earth, which sprouted forth magical energy from an intersection in the planetary lei lines. This is how the first Faerieskin was made: the spirit that first came our of the crevice attatched to the king, and formed into an image of what he might desire: a woman. Although they're innate body size made her more of a little girl.

These creatures are imbued with pure magic, and spend all of their waking time floating a foot or so off the ground. These are not melee fighters in any sense; as it is they have trouble weilding a short sword (held as a great sword due to their size and lack of strength). As they grow older, their wings become more and more magnificent and intricate.
