STEP-by-STEP Process in my TUMBLR

It was midnight.

After a long way of our journey and hunting, I thought we really needed to take a rest.

The night was so serene, and I took a deep breathe. I should keep myself together. But I still couldn't keep my heartbeat calmer.

It's just that night.

"Hey!"

*gulp*

And there I saw him, Akimu, with his upbeat tone. With his appearance, it must be impressive that he could stand such optimistic point of view.

I still could see his damaged ear and all the scars he has due to the war. I won't blame him if he was a cranky figure, but as far as I've become his hunting partners, he knows how to maintain his smile and makes me calm.

"What's wrong? Got something in my face?" he asks.

"Oh, n... no!! I mean... no, nothing!" as I turn my face aside. Geez, keep calm, me!

"It's quite a day huh. Those dungeons were really worth to explore," he scratches his other hand.

"Yeah," I answered, "We have lotsa loots. Pretty rare, too,".

"You need to be more careful, you know. Our potions were almost used up," he reminds me.

"Yeah," I scratch my hair, "Really, those bats were something else!".

He giggles, "And remember how those monsters shocked you from the revolving wall?"

"Oh geez," I pout, "Do you need to remind me all that?"

"Well, I'm worried the damages you had was more from the surprise rather than their ambush," he laughes softly.

"Oh come o~...," ... and I was suddenly quiet, to see his smile and laugh like that.

"It's been really a while since I had a good laugh," he snickers.

Please. keep laughing like that. I want to see your happy expression more.

"We're still in one piece, coming out of there. Guess we're lucky,".

Yes, we're lucky.

"And it's so comforting to have a rest like this after what we just had this day," as he stares the starry sky, "I love the night breeze here... makes me feel comfortable and clears my mind,".

And my heartbeat goes calm to see his smile again. He seems smiling yet so lonely. All that memories about him coming back to me, and I guess...

I guess...

"So?"

"Wh... what?" I'm just called back to earth.

"What was it?"

"'What was it' what?"

"The thing, you wanted to show me?"

..............

Oh, that's right.

That's the very reason I asked him to explore that dangerous dungeon with me today, For that one item I couldn't share with anyone else.

And I guess...

This is the time, I should share it...

"You know, Akimu...,"

"Yes?"

I take out the item, nicely wrapped in a small wooden box.

He seems a bit surprised, yet he still smiles calmly.

"Akimu, I...,"
