The pack has caught a garou of another tribe invading their territory. After several days of being held captive and having to go through various torture and other things (Dancers can be very creative when it's about seriously hurting someone), there was the decision to force the poor soul to dance the spiral. Wassja helps out preparing him for that moment, by painting sort of ritual tirbals on the captured garou. he doesn't use paint for it, but semi-acidic blood which can be found in some wyrm creatures (hence the li'l bit of steam over the bowl).
The theurges of the pack believe it brings good luck or makes the magic and rites work better if Was assists them, as he is believed to be closer to the Wyrm than anyone else and wit his support things just have to work out the way they were planned. Nobody really knows if he's really closer to the Wyrm than a less gifted Dancer.
While Wassja is not the leader of his pack, he gets a whole lot of respect from everyone, mainly because he's what his pack calls "gifted". He's an important part of social events (if there are any), as the pack elders think it's motivating for the pups to see what they could become if they survive dancing the spiral... while for those who are forced to do it, turning out something like him would be nothing but a most horrible nightmare.

Wow, This is amazing! I love the subtle, intricate details of the marks on his body (scars from the wyrm blood, i assume?), and how from a diastanc,e it looks crisp and clear, but looking closer, you can see some of the contours along the arms and under the fur. I love that! Very beautiful!
The only scars on him are the spiral patterns he carved into his neck and part of the chest. What covers his body is some kinda webbing. Think of some skin disease or something that direction.
His own sick skin is the reason for his skin fetish X3 He collects pretty skin, preferably human and garou.
