I thought it would be fun to show off my little manga collection to show people what interests me. It's nothing too impressive considering that at the moment I only got 4 Manga of interest but I still enjoy it.
So from left to right we got.
Ace Attorney Case book's 1 & 2:
Not so much a series but rather a collection of short stories ranging from funny to serious to touching. 1 is focused on Phoenix when 2 is focused on Edgeworth. It's an interesting read especially if you like the Ace Attorney games.
Scott Pilgrim Vol 1-6:
Yes I know that this isn't a manga but I still consider it a part of my collection. If you haven't read any of the Scott Pilgrim novels I would highly recommend it. Even if you saw the movie I would recommend the source material cause there are some things that the book just does better.
Assassination Classroom Vol 1 (*2-4 trying to get):
This is a recent Manga/Anime that I have been keeping my eye's on and I will say without a doubt it is one of the most enjoyable things I have gotten into this year. It is a bizarre series as it is a mix of Action and Comedy with some moral slice of life in the mix, but honestly I can't help but enjoy it for it as it has some really diverse and interesting characters (Nagisa and Karma being some notable favorites). I would recommend looking it up and seeing for yourself.
Noragami Vol 1 (*2-3 trying to get):
This one is rather interesting as I am still trying to figure out what the basic premise of the series is. I would try to explain it but I know that I would get it wrong, so just to summarize the back of the book, it's about a homeless god named Yato trying to make it big. Last I checked you could watch it on Netflix (Though I can't guarantee it will still be there) so I would recommend watching to see what you would think. It's interesting.
Blue Exorcist Vol 1-9 (*10-13 trying to get):
Ok this series is the second one I got into and it's one that is interesting from the sort of view it takes on demon's and religion. It gives an interesting take on the concept of exorcists as well as presenting a rather heavy conflict for the protagonist (You know, being the son of Satan and all kinda blows). It's also interesting how a character can have a big influence throughout a story, despite being dead. If you aren't too uptight about religious portrait it's worth a look.
Soul Eater Vol 1-21 (*22-25 needed to conclude the series):
If you know me then you know how much I love Soul Eater. This series is just awesome from the Anime to the Manga. I'm trying to get the last few books to see how the series concludes as it has been enjoyable throughout. Even if you have seen the Anime through, I recommend picking up the Manga because when it breaks off (About during the battle for BREW) and takes a much more serious and dark turn that over makes the series even more epic in my opinion. If you can read it, just don't let the first few chapters scare you off like they did me at first.
So that is what I have been reading Manga wise. I would love to hear some of your thoughts on these series and what Maga's you might recommend.
PS. That corn snake plush is Hebi (Yes very original name), He helps guard my collection from those with cheeto fingers.
*This is based on what is available at my local Barns and Noble where I get them. (And by local I mean it's about 20 miles away, yay desert town I live in)
