When I got bored deciding what to draw, I happened to be watching a documentary on neanderthals since I was bored. It gave me the idea to challenge myself "What would be the perfect survival species". It seemed like a fun challenge to inspire some art or ideas, so why not share it with everyone? I gave it an interesting pretense and story to set the mood and direness of this challenge. This is open to anyone, no need for permission or anything stupid like that, so knock yourself out!

Our world is in shambles, wracked by

constant riots, warfare, and natural disasters.

The politics of the world have become entirely

corrupted by ideals of greed, control, and

hatred. Chemical, Nuclear, and Biological

Warfare are all being used at extremes. The end

of all intelligent life on our world could be

approaching.

You have been put in charge of creating a

new being to succeed our kind. If we do happen

to go extinct, there must be something to contue

our legacy. This is where you come in.

We have given you all the necessary

resources, workers, and technology to complete

such a task. Now you see, this new creature

needs to be able to stand any extremes, to

survive any environment, and win any fight all

without any tools or weapons. It also has to be

able to make use of what's left of our tools and

weapons as well to increase their capabilities,

so it needs to be as adaptable as possible.

Also, not to forget, they need to be able to

repopulate the earth, so reproduction ability is

a necessity, though it should not hinder

survivability or dedication in any way shape or

form. I must once again tell you, adaptability

is key. It's what got us to where we are, so if

they are not smart enough or formed correctly to

use what's left from us, they will not survive.

Remember, this new species is not limited

by "normal" species' limitation. Any

combinations of species' body parts, unique

species' special abilities, hybridization of

limbs, any fictional body parts that could be

possible, as well as any placement,

duplications, lighting or coloring effects, or

placement. Though a bipedal form is suggested,

it is not the only option. However not having a

bipedal form extremely hinders adaptability.

The ultimate survival species, to last a

million millenia. To create such a thing, this

task is up to you. You will need to engineer

these creatures that can survive anything, that

will thrive upon our ashes, that will Inherit

the Earth.
