Perhaps the youngest of the company at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (a M*A*S*H), he's also probably the sneakiest and the most organized member of the outfit; having every form in triplicate, bugling every morning at revelle, delivering mail call...and on occasion srubbing up and helpin' in meatball surgery. >.> On top of it all, the uncanny ability to know when things are gonna happen before they do (like when a new CO needs to use a latrine). He also has to put with with "Hawkeye's" many height and age jokes (including one that stemmed from an accidental shippment of rubber pants and diapers...when the camp really needed heavy coats and boots), although he also has much respect for the chief surgeon.

As cute an innocent as he may be, he's not above a little mischief...like sending a lamb flown from Greece for Greek Easter back to Iowa to be his "little brother" or assisting "Hawkeye" in fleecing Frank's ill gotten gains from sports betting with the enlisted personnel or stuffing poker money in his stuffed kit to keep ol' "Ferret Face" from finding that (since he banned gambling during his temporary command).
