"What's Bimbonite? What's this expedition? What's with this uniform? Why doesn't mine come off? Where am I, I was asleep and these huge-bossomed amazons grabbed me and- ... Yes, yes, all valid concerns! I'll get to... most of those. Let's start with the easy stuff!"
"Bimbonite, the rare and exotic... element? Y'know, honestly there's still a lot of confusion as to WHAT it is, exactly. Attempts to analyze it deeper than I've ventured haven't really... panned out. I mean, nobody died! Just, I don't think they remember their names... or anything... NO MATTER! You're not breaking the stuff down, you're just finding it for me! Bimbonite is the raw material I refine into my patented BIMBOLEUM! Which, as you know, is the miracle concoction used in my work to bestow a happy new disposition, and body, onto my lucky subjects! Bimboleum, Bimbonite, it's pink! It's pretty! It feels SO good! ...and damned if the popularity of my work hasn't made the supply run low! You see, Bimbonite is also exceptionally RARE! At least in usable quantities. So finding more is tricky business. That's where YOU come in!"

You've signed up, pledged to help crowdfund- some kinda word that became popular lonnnng ago in the 21st century- this expedition and will be venturing out into deepest, darkest space to help me find more Bimbonite! I'm too busy, and important, to do ALL the work, after all! But those of you venturing to more Bimbonite-rich planets will get a visit from me and can assist in beginning the Bimbonite extraction! We can talk more about that later, when the time comes!"
"Lastly, there's the uniform! Now, we can't have you freelancers getting into trouble out there, going out unprepared and ill-equipped! So I've manufactured a line of expeditionary suits for this purpose! See the enclosed image! I'll get a list of features out to you later. Probably. Just something to help keep you SAFE from the very... strange... properties of Bimbonite, any atmospheric abnormalities, or lack thereof, and anything else! But don't worry, your missions won't be dangerous! ...I think...?"

Dr. Badger turns away from the flickering broadcast, the shape of a young woman strapped down to a table behind her. A large syringe gun, hoses hooked up to the back, raises and presumably pushes in as her squeals turn to giggles and cries for more, the broadcast flickering violently and then cutting away to a machine-voiced broadcast...
2) Planetary Information
More exact information will be released from planetary probes as each tier is reached. When a tier is filled, a complete report will be released, as well as more information about the following planet(s).
Tier
1) Asteroid field - This asteroid belt exhibits a higher than normal background Bimbonite signature. Probes have reached the field, but return transmissions are impaired by the debris field of the belt. Reports indicate no visible large deposits, but it's postulated that a large-scale extraction operation could break down the asteroids into raw Bimbonite. In-person exploration is required to validate these findings.
Life signs: Unlikely. Due to the size of the belt, it's impossible to say with certainty that there is NO life, although since the asteroids lack an atmosphere it is HIGHLY unlikely. For reference, any known asteroid fields with lifeforms present have typically been exotic algae or primitive invertebrates capable of extracting resources from the rock.
2) Desert Planet - Catalog designation currently unavailable. Long-distance readings from probe indicate an arid climate of large expanses of sand and raised, stony plateaus. Life possible, readings currently inconclusive. More information available when probe nears planet.
3) Ice World - Cold. Probe too distant for more information.
4) Spectral analysis indicates water world.
5) Unknown. Chemically imbalanced atmosphere indicates abundant life.
6) Unknown. Weak... signal pulse...?
7) Unknown.

Oh good, I can talk normally now! DatBadger here. Me. Artist. Not the Doctor character. I'll try to keep THIS part more concise!
The Great Bimbonite Expedition is this wild, and I think, really FUN idea I had! A much greater expansion, and supporter-involved, of the concept we had a couple years ago? That drive where y'all transformed Dr. Badger? That was fun! But this could be even better! There's no back and forth on the transformations this time. Every dollar collected just helps to fund a new planetary expedition, a new piece of ART!
And best of all, YOUR characters can be in them! I think it's a pretty simple concept. Here's how:
Each tier (such as the above $100 asteroid field) has a US Dollar amount to reach. When it has been, the next planet gets more information revealed, as well as the amount required to reach it. That way you can get a better idea of which tier you might want to support the most. Becaaaause-
In each tier, the TOP donor gets to be in the resulting picture! You get to star in your own cheezy, erotic sci-fi adventure! And each location has increasing amounts of Bimbonite which can transform you more and more if your suit is compromised. Oh noooo~♥♥ Plus, as the amount of Bimbonite increases, Dr. Badger's probably going to be there in-person to oversee the process- and who knows WHAT that could lead to! ;3c
So let's say people start charging in, pledging money. First donations are like... $10, $15, $25, annnd somebody tosses $50. That's $100. Asteroid field reached! The chart will update (another post) with the amount needed for the Desert planet, more exact information on it and what you can expect, and whoever it was with $50 back in the first tier? That generous volunteer will be the focus of the piece I'll draw, showing what happened to them in the asteroid field!
Donations are added to each tier in the order I receive the payment from you. So if a tier you want is open and I send you the invoice, check those emails quick! ♥ If you make a donation and it overfills the current tier, the remainder rolls over into the next one, but the AMOUNT you pledged (being used for deciding who's in the art) is counted in that current tier. Unless your pledge is so large that it completely fills the next tier, you do not get both. I don't think this will be a problem. EXAMPLE: $90 has been raised from various, small pledges towards the Asteroid Field and Scout A comes in and pledges $100. Their $100 is counted as their amount- it beats the other, smaller pledges, and they'll explore the asteroid field. But we only needed $10, so the other $90 overflows into the Desert. Even if that $90 is bigger than the other pledges that fill the Desert, Scout A doesn't get to be in that TOO. This keeps people from waiting until a tier is *almost* full, then donating a large amount to try and get both pictures. HOWEVER, if Scout A there had been crazy and donated whatever insane amount it would have taken (which they wouldn't know the amount of yet) to fill the Desert entirely, then yes they'd get that one two. This is almost certainly not going to happen, I just wanted to be clear from the start of that is how I'd handle it. Sorry for the lengthy explanation.
HOW TO SEND MONEY (tl;dr) Note me your paypal email and how much you want to pledge Okay, the EASIEST way for ME to keep track of WHO is donating how much, is for me to send you an invoice on Paypal. I know it'd be easy if you could just send me the money, but I can't be sure everyone will remember to include their usernames on their payments or something, and it could become a mess and that is no good for any of us! Remember, I count pledges in the order I receive payment. :3 If a tier has just filled up when I'm reading your Note, I WILL send you a Note back informing you of this, and send you the invoice. If you didn't want to pledge to the next tier, let me know in a reply and I'll cancel the invoice. ♥

That's the one part of not really figured out. :/ Like, we don't want a years-long expedition, haha. But I don't want to say "3 weeks" or something and cause some people who WOULD want in to not be able to cause they can't save up. So right now, it's gonna be open-ended. :3
