It was a beautiful day, when Jenna and Kia decided to go into the woods behind her house.
On the way, they discovered a small clearing in the undergrowth. The soil looked sandy and seemed stable, but it seemed that no trees or other plants grow up on it, up to a few exceptions.
"This was once the dreaded bottomless quagmire from which there should be no escape."
Kia said, slightly aroused.
"Do you dare to go to the middle, sis?"
Kia's expression looked provocatively challenging.
Thereupon, Jenna saw slightly blushing at her. Kia knew that Jenna never could resist a challenge like this.
"I will do it!“ Jenna said, and tooked her shoes off.
She carefully put one foot after the other. She made it easily into the center and smiled victorious.
Suddenly, the ground gave away beneath her feets and they disappeared up to the ankles in deep dark mud.
"Um ... Kia, I think I have a problem here!"
Jenna said slightly scared and tried to lift her left foot, whereupon her Right slipped deeper into the thick mud.
„I… i think this is quicksand!“
Jenna exclaimed in horror and struggled around helplessly.
"I like your show, you are a very good actress, sis!"
Kia grinned with an aroused voice.
Without thinking she walked up to Jenna which tried in vain to warn her sister.
„No, please! You can’t escape it, when you sinking in it! It’s bottomless!“
she moaned. But Kia remained stubborn.
"Don't worry, i will... oh shit!"
Kia gasped, as her feets were swallowed up by the ground.
"Oh no! You're right!"
Kia struggled like a freak until she had sunk to her knees and the suction which embraced her tightly becomes so strong, that she couldn't move her legs anymore.
Jenna tried to poke around in the mud with a 2-meter-long wooden stick, in the hope, she'll find solid ground. But it seemed hopeless. The mud was just too deep around them and it was only a matter of time before they would goes down all the way. Kia desperately clinging to her little sister and tried in vain to lift her up.
