My submission for the t-shirt design contest for this year's CesFur.
I thought Hathor would make a nice patron for the celebration which is CesFur as she is the goddess of love, sky, music and dance, and impersonation of the Great Mother. Part of her role been taken later by Isis, but Hathor was kind of first and is less popular(especially in furry art).
On the personal choice, I find bovines cute.
The contest is on and you can vote here. And you don't have to be logged in to do so. Of course don't vote for my image, right.
(The deadline for submitting badge images for Cesfur is soon upon us but I still might find a while to do two of those egyptian themed badges, so contact me if you're interested.)
Started with a CorelDraw despair because it's crap and I hate it and it's annoying but it was the only vector program I had experience with. Okay, gimme that Adobe Illustrator that will be so comfortable an intuitive to use, for sure just like Photoshop becasue it's all Adobe. Five minutes of using AI I was cursing it just like I used to curse damn Corel. So it wasn't Corel which I didn't like, it was VECTOR on the whole and all along. It's like enginering art :P
So I was learning a new program. Also I never actually drew anything in vector(it was always just trace the bitmap, import, paste some text, done).
