I have no clue how to sew. So after looking at a lot of designs online, I figured a good way is to get 2 large dog collars, foam mats and strong glue.
I haven't glued the 2nd part on (just to make the bottom thicker) but here's what it looks like so far. My only 2 issues really is to make it match the 2nd piece perfect (tried but it's close) and how to make the cut sides smoother. Other than that It seems to be alright.

In general fursuit feet tend to be a little bit different from one another, so basing the sandal on the shape of the foot it's going on is the best way to go.
In terms of the sides, it doesn't really matter. I just use scissors and they look just fine. They're going to wear out with time, anyway, you may need to replace the bottoms after a while.
