Prologue;
This story takes place long ago. Back when dragons and magic were still believed in.
Dragons slowly began to appear more and more, the town people began to fear for their lives and their families lives. Soon word spread about someone able to kill the dragons, the dragonborn. More and more warriors rose up to fight back against not only the growing dragon threat but also against those using the poor townfolk's fear to swipe their gold out from under their noses with false promises.
Many of these people were the theives living in the shadows, some even took the acts to far and killed the townsfolk or held them for ransons. When these stories spread...there were two clans the townsfolk would run to..Seeing as the guards around their homes were worthless in protecting them. Some ran to a well known group called The Companions, others ran to a more secretive group called The Dark Brotherhood.
Who you called apon varied in the facts of; How much are you willing to pay?, Do you want the person killed or locked away?, Are you sure you're not someone else's target as you stand there thinking?.
