So on the left we have Tamuril, and on the right is Boon. Both of which are part of a fictional race called Ruem that  Leoleporidae and I created together.

The Ruem are a matriarchal race of creatures built for combat. Females are rare and select males based on shows of power and strength. Males fight each other to get attention, if a female is interested, she can claim him for herself, and if more than one are interested, the two females duke it out for the claim. It's not uncommon for a female to have more than one mate, but once a male has been "claimed" he's with her for good (unless he royally screws up somehow).

Tamuril is one of the most proficient warriors amongst their ranks, while Boon is actually one of the physically weakest males, making up in brains and medical ability.

Their bodies are naturally armored with thick plates over key joints, and their tails balance them perfectly for when they want to deliver a powerful two talon kick to whatever is unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end.
