Yea man, unfortunately most of them are stupidly hot to wear, especially in summer. Some makers do cool things like fans in the heads and ventilated mouths and ears, and mine all have sneaky vent pockets and include a full cooling vest when I make them. Haven't started doing it commercially yet, though. :) Soon, maybe, if tattoos don't take up all my time. :)
(This one doesn't have any of that stuff except a vented mouth, so yea, it gets pretty hot. Got heat stroke in it once.) Was jumping on the trampoline in full sun with this one when I took these pics, though, as I'm pretty heat-tolerant most of the time. Honestly, I find it way better to wear them outside even in the sun, with all the fresh moving air, as opposed to being indoors at a con with no moving air.
With cooling vests they're seriously easy to wear for hours. :)
