NANOTECH LEGENDS Concept Sketch - Karon Blue
So, this is the latest idea to fall out of my brain, and it's firing enough synapses that I event went and made an entire font for it (the circuitry-looking font you see around his arm, punch and name)
NANOFORCE FIGHTER: BALLISTA!
In a futuristic world seperated into city-states ruled by powerful militant corporations, the only hope many have of making it through their troubles is to call on one of the great Mercenary Guilds; Heaven's Sword, Black Hammer, The Fists of Righteousness and many more.
The Corporations run the world, and the Guilds do the dirty work as Contracts dictate; and in this world, the balance of power is corrupt as they come. The C.E.Os rule over every city-state in the world, their law enforced by their own corporate armies and their Directors; supremely powerful men and women who work to keep their own take on 'the peace' in place. Those too poor to live within the city-states' bounds or those unwilling to be strapped down by their laws try to scrape out a living in the wastelands.
Karon Blue is a young wolf with big dreams. As one of the Nanobound - individuals to whom the invisible creatures known as Nanites swarm like moths to a spotlight - he's set on becoming a legend in his own time, carving out a name for himself and rising through the ranks of the world's #1 guild, Heaven's Sword.
When he's soundly beaten back by his idol and chosen challenger for initiation, Eustace Calette; the vulpine right-hand of the Heaven's Sword guildmaster; he thinks his dream may be over before it's even begun - until Eusatace herself gives him the inspiration to start his own guild. Gifted with her las-sword and sworn to only draw it once he believes he's worthy, Karon sets out to forge his own legend, and the Azure Soul guild is born.
So yeah, this may well become a thing. It'll be combat heavy, porn free and very, very silly indeed. Think of 'One Piece', the manga/anime, in terms of how ridiculous the combat will likely get.
(Sorry to those that like my porny creations, but this will give me a chance to do some of the more ridiculous, over-the-top combat sequences that even CnC doesn't - as I do try and keep CnC VAGUELY grounded in the physically possible, albeit to a stretched limit of 'possible' :P)
