When Graafen was traded to the super villain Cocoon he initially resisted the notion of being a villain, but his infatuation with the evil skunk quickly changed his mind.

With Cocoon's permission, Graafen sought out the tailor that had made his subjugator's costume and had an almost exact replica made for himself. Sacrificing the ability to breathe normal air, relying on a mix of gaseous chemicals provided by Cocoon, Graafen has become the villain Epoxy and has devoted his life to the fruition of Cocoon's plans.

Unseen, on his back, is a mechanical unit that houses his breathing device and a supply of quick curing glue that can be sprayed from the hoses at his arms to subdue his foes.
