Hi! Shade's Ghost here! Work decided to murder him over the past five days, but have no fear, we are currently working on gathering the necessary Phoenix Downs to revive him! He apologizes greatly for the delay and wants everyone to know that in no way did he forget to update. *thumbs up*
You decide to approach your future meal in a friendly manner. You consider asking Saedia for her thoughts on the matter, but she appears to have gone quiet, so you just pretend she made some rude, snarky shark comment.
Straightening your mane so that you don't look like you just swallowed her friend, you step out of the shadows as if you were just walking on by and do your best to play cool. Stopping by the wolf, you fake a gasp. "Hey, I remember you! We met on the street, remember?"
The wolf looks up at you and looks nervous for a moment. Her eyes land on your belly and for a moment, you think your cover is blown, but she doesn't seem to suspect anything. "Oh yeah, you're that dragon we bumped into earlier. Hey, look, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I was really in a bad mood."
Taken aback by the apology, you rub the back of your head awkwardly. "Oh... thanks, but it's no biggy, I wasn't mad and plotting revenge or anything." Total save, you are a genius! "So, uh, why are you here?"
"My friend got a pair of tickets to come here and she kind of forced me to come along. It's not really my thing, but I won't lie, this place is kind of cool if you're into some weird stuff." Amarante laughs and points at a smaller tent. "Did you go in there? There was a bear and he just got swallowed whole by a frog! I've never seen anything like that before, what about you?"
"Oh wow! Someone got eaten?? I bet that was fun to watch!" You are interrupted by a small belch as your stomach turns over nervously. "Yeah... Where's your friend? You seem like you're ready to go home."
With a sigh, Amarante checks the time on her phone. "Well, she got picked to take part in the magic show, but she hasn't come out yet. Maybe she ditched me, she's done it before."
"Doesn't sound like much of a friend." As you stare at the distracted wolf, you can't help yourself as your thick pink tongue licks hungrily over your lips. "You wanna look around a little more while we wait?"
The two of you share some casual conversation as you look around the Gallaria some more. She's actually not that bad without the shark around (at least not around as far as SHE knows...) and you find yourself wondering if you still want to eat her. Apparently, she's going to the same college as Jeremy and her friend was the typical rich, spoiled type. Eventually, you notice Morrigan watching you from the entrance of a tent advertising fantastic and unique creatures. Pardoning yourself, you step inside the tent and greet the dragoness.
"What's up, man? Did you enjoy your meal?" Morrigan peeks out and watches the wolf for a few minutes. "Why are you taking so long on dessert?"
"I dunno, unless she freaks out of something, I may just let her go." You pat your slightly extended stomach and smile. "I did get my revenge on the meaner of the two."
Morrigan shrugs and pulls out the golden charm you were after, handing it to you. "Whatever you decide. If you need anything in the future, feel free to come poke around the carnival some more." She winks and almost seems to melt into the shadows. You barely have time to pocket the charm as Amarante enters the tent.
"Rasko? Is everything okay?" She looks worried that you were going to ditch her as well. "It's getting late, I think I may head back to campus."
"If you want, that's fine with me. I'll keep an eye out for your friend, okay?" You offer the wolf a comforting smile which she rewards with a wag of her tail.
"Well, let me give Saedia a call and let her know I'm heading back to the dorm." Realization doesn't dawn on you as she pulls out her cellphone and starts dialing numbers. However, as you start to hear the strange ring tone coming out of your bag, you feel a sense of dread. Amarante seems to be putting two and two together as she stares at you in confusion. "Do you... do you have her cellphone...?"
This could easily go south really quickly...
Uh oh, what are you going to do?

Well, there went hopes of her being a friend, might just be dessert afterall ^..^; then again you could always tell a fib and say you found it, like she dropped it or something but thatd probably bring up problems later.
Best thing to do i think is be honest and decide if shes a snack based on her reaction.

Honesty can sometimes go a long way. Who knows maybe she might be glad that her mean friend is dragon chow.
And if it helps a little, from this point.
