I was up until about 2am last night reading all the lovely comments you guys left on my new tattoo (seriously, holy fuzz <3 <3 My jaw hit the desk when I saw what a response that got!), and was in such good spirits by the time I finished that I couldn't resist quickly sketching this over a nightcap X3 This image had been in my head for a while, and when
viewfinder mentioned the same sort of idea I decided it had to be drawn.
Kinda reminds me of that meme that was going around a while back - "[insert subject here]: what other people think it is; what I think it is; what is actually is" etc etc. When I talk about "my pet dragon", this is pretty much what's in my head XD
These colors are just what I picked for this sketch, by the way; the finished piece may have different colors, or may just be greyscale shading, I haven't decided yet. If it is color it will probably still be mostly in the red-yellow spectrum though.
If you haven't seen the photos of the actual lineart yet and want to, they're in my Scraps here - be warned, pasty white furless boob flesh ahead! ;P

Saw the pic, and this one, loving both :) I adore Mushu!
I will admit whenever I see Dragon Tattoo I automatically think of the movie and book trilogies: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The original Swedish version, the tattoo was huge and took up the entire back. The one movie they did over here in North America, the tattoo was super tiny.
YOUR Tattoo looks great! I never would have thought it would be on the front. Back yes, but not front. For me it'd be too weird to show off the front haha Wouldn't work anyway as I have no boobs (not anymore, only scars).
When the Tattoo is all coloured, definitely post some more pics and how it would look while wearing a shirt (of some sort) where the head of the dragon is clearly visible. I know you can pull it off :)

Haha yeah, it's funny cuz I actually don't like my boobs much at all and don't often get shirtless - a much more visible place for a tattoo would be, say, my lower leg (I am thinking that'll be next!) as I almost always wear shorts, or my arm or something. But I think it's just cuz I don't do things in half-measures... if I'm designing a tattoo, it's gonna be BIG, it's gonna be CENTRAL, it's gonna be THE MOST AWESOME I can possibly make it. And now I like my boobs a whole lot more! XD I know a girl who had literally the flattest chest I've ever seen, and she got a fantastic tattoo all across her upper chest, tons of colors and vines and nature themed stuff; and sure enough, she suddenly felt prouder and more confident about her chest, and other people noticed the tattoo instead of noticing anything else. Perhaps that's partly my pro-tattoo local culture, but I personally feel that tattoos make everything prettier :D
I gotta admit you are very pretty tattoo or no tattoo :) It's a very well done tattoo for sure! Some females out there have such amazing chests and fronts that it is literally a perfect canvas. Still, I wonder what the nipple biting dragon woulda looked like! Guess we gotta wait for a new piece of furry artwork Ermine with that initial concept! haha
(Still chuckling over that last line in your comments.) I really like this idea because many years ago my friend Richard suggested my character "Muse" should get a magical necklace with a tiny, silver figure of a winged dragon. I like the tattoo idea though, as it suggests there's more than a physical bond between the two characters. Besides, such a magical creature could come in handy if one gets into trouble.
Exactly what I was thinking!!
Ya'know.....with your Absolutely Lovely skin tone a Bright (say fire engine or Blood red) Red with Gold or simi Bright Yellow Highlights would look Absolutely Incredible on You!!!
You Truly Do have an Absolutely Gorgeous skin tone for Tattoos!!
The color possibilities are endless!

One way to check colors against your skin is to take one of the photos of yourself and color the actual tattoo using a layer blending mode that will give it the best look.
One thing that I'm surprised was how non-kinky the comments were given the general theme of the art on here.

The distinction between furry and non-furry stuff in the furry mentality is huge - I'm speaking in broad generalizations here, of course - but also, I find people are usually very respectful when someone is posting content that's clearly personal. And there aren't many online communities that can claim that!
