Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a very stigmatized disorder that causes intense emotional in-balances and irrational behavior.
People who suffer from BPD feel emotions far more easily and dramatically, so they often have severe fears of abandonment and have self image/identity issues on top of a slough of other symptoms.
These uncontrollable emotions can eventually lead to self-harm and even suicide.
