Flat-Coloured Icon Commission for
Fenris_The_Firecat featuring his fursona, Fenris!
Hooyah, big cats! Panthers have always had a special place in my heart, (the Eastern cougar is NOT extinct, people!) since I grew up in their turf, and they happened to be the mascot of my college! I loved working on this guy, finding the balance between realistic, conniving, yet still cute, in that feline sort of way, haha. Also, I went /nuts/ on that fur detail.
Check my front page for links to Commission information and availability.
Thanks, Fenris! Hope ya like!

He's not a mountain lion .... He's a Florida Panther ><
But all jokes aside, you've really done a good job, friend! You've done my putty tat justice! I appreciate this, as well as all the other work you do -- both in art and in your Service to our country. Feel free to let me know if you need anything!
Thanks again,
Fenris

Fun Fact: The Florida Panther was the ''original'' Panther, given that they were the first to be named as such. The Black Panther -- which many consider to be the first, was actually given its moniker by American explorers, who compared this Asian cat to the Panther at home. Not-so-fun Fact: There are fewer than 130 Florida Panthers remaining in the wild. Polar bears are at greater numbers than they've been in years, and penguins and whales are at steady populations. Nobody cares about the Panther because it's not advertised on TV. I'm trying to run a charity drive for the poor panfers, but I've not really had any takers. I know it's not my place to ask, but I'd really appreciated if you plugged http://floridapanther.org/ on a Journal or something. These poor cats don't deserve to be hunted and hit-and-runned any longer.
And of course! Your work is amazing! I wish nothing but more success for you, friend!
Thanks a million!
