
Somehow this was left behind in my shirt pocket when I took the rest out. It's slightly smaller than my thumbnail and about as thick, so this shouldn't be a surprise. What does surprise me is that Mexico still issues centavo coins - I had the impression they had stopped years ago. Back in the late 60s-early 70s my father ran a cigarette and candy vending company, and for some reason (perhaps because they were about the same size then as our quarter) people would try to use the various centavo denominations, 10, 25 etc, in our machines. I wound up with a lot of the things. One time I got the idea of drilling holes in them and making an artistic necklace, but the first coin put out so much heat when I tried to drill it I burned my fingers. So much for ART. ;__;
