And here's me with my part of the TF2 costume group my friends and I did.
Made it completely from scratch.
The suit is a 2 piece poncho (Bad idea... got real hot, real fast)
Patches are canvas I got from the dollar store and cut off the frame, then printed on them with my computer printer.
Straps are from an old leather bag my mom was gonna toss out.
"grenades" are just NOS bottles I got from friends.
Gloves are just kitchen gloves with mittens over them with the fingers cut off.
The gas mask; I had for nearly a year now from an Army Surpluss store.
The Flame-Thrower:
The tank's a Heiniken keg I sray-painted. The metal tube is just some tube I found in the metal shop at school. The flame guards on the muzzle tip and the keg are steel that I hole-punched and bent with hammers. The gas-pump handle's styofoam I cut into shape, reinforced with long bolts inside it, and covered with duct-tape and friction-tape, and the black tube is a regular plastic tube I covered with black duct-tape.
Lots of rivets, welding and soldering went into the making of this. The flame-thrower comes out to about 7 pounds, and gave me back problems the next day since I was running around with it all halloween, running like a pyro; in an awkward positon to hold it properly... missed 2 days of work because of that.... Also lost nearly 2 pounds from how much I sweated and ran around that day.
WORTH IT!!!

Well I did have gloves made of duct-tape that looked a lot more like the ones from the game. but they went missing at school 2 days before halloween.
I also searched for 3 weeks to find anything that could be used as either a red or blue jump-suit, and was suprized and pissed to have found absolutely nothing. So I had to go for the poncho last-second.
