Endless Realms bestiary - Ice Worm
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Here's another cold-loving critter - this one tunnels through ice and snow, then ambushes surface-dwellers from below, pelting them with shards of ice it stores in its gullet. I was vaguely inspired by blubbery beasts like belugas and manatees, but it probably doesn't show much :b

Very interesting looking. It's adaptation to ice, and snow looks very well done with the claws and beaks. And the hair to help keep warm.
This would be a great creature to have in a campaign where you fall into it's tunnels and you have to find your way our, and then have to deal with it. Or if you want to go crazy with it have an Ice Giant riding on a giant Ice Worm.

Thank you very much!
Yeah, the developers want a good selection of creatures for various settings, and wanted some more snowy/cold/arctic-type critters :3 Would be sorta trippy to have an entire campaign take place in an arctic setting - players get stranded in this inhospitable region plagued by snowstorms and the such, discover ice worm tunnels, and it leads them to this big underground ice world or something.
