I haven’t been a very prolific composer in the past few years, or at least that’s what it seems like considering I’ve only submitted a handful of tunes. The reality is that I compose quite a bit, but it seems like most of these end in a endless loop of me not having idea what to do with them, It’s a really unfortunate fate for most of the songs I start composing, I simply cannot keep myself to continue these because I have no idea where to take them next.
Some are really simple ideas, some are almost finished pieces but in the end they all feel like dead-ends to me.

Anyway, I decided that as a way to move on (but not necessarily give up on most of these) I would submit the totality of my unfinished work… yes, all of them, no matter how big or small the files are.I found out there’s quite a bit of them, 57 in total! Some are shorter than 30 seconds while some break the 2 minute mark, some are REALLY sketchy and rough while some are somewhat polished and overworked.

I’ll also have to split the upload into SEVERAL PARTS (because FA’s file size limits are gheeey).
I’ll provide a bit of commentary for every WIP down below, too: I’ll use the file’s name for ever piece, and when there’s two different songs in one file, I’ll separate them by patterns (Folks who use FL Studio will understand).

This was originally a midi file I hastily applied soundfont patches to, the theme for one of the areas of a dating sim a friend was making in Furcadia! My first shot at actual videogame music! Too bad the game was never finished.

1:09 - 2:10 ~ 2-ck.flp
This is an old one! My attempt to make an electronic-sounding thing. There isn’t a lot to say about this one, I don’t really like it that much.

2:13 - 3:35 ~ 3.flp
One of the oldest on the list, as well as one of my favourites… I’ll be eternally frustrated I don’t know how to continue or to conclude this one.

3:36 - 4:35 ~ 5-go.flp
Just a quickly-rushed then forgotten of piece, the melodies in the later part are just…. eh, I decided to kinda give up.

4:37 - 6:16~ 5-gorec.flp
Oh man! I really like this one, would love to continue it when I can benefit from more authentic-sounding soundfonts, I think this one has potential.

6:18 - 6:55 ~ 56.flp
The last of the numbered ones!
Just a short, silly, little piano piece, I was quite pleased with some of the melody segments but I didn’t really know where to go with it (You’ll hear me say this a lot).

6:56 - 7:44 ~ a.flp
I don’t even remember when I started this one, but it must have been a while… I literally found out I had it while looking for old files. I was experimenting with industrial sound I guess?

7:46 - 8:32 ~ can.flp
The awfulness of the violin sound in this short and unremarkable piece only serves as inspiration for me to retake violin and play my own stuff rather than relying on these terrible patches!

8:33 - 9:37 ~ cetr.flp
*inserts bass joke here*

9:40 - 10:52 ~ cha.flp
(Can’t believe I broke the 10 minute mark already)
THIS ONE! I pushed it all the way to 9:40 as to create expectation (3 seconds yay).
I am most definitely completing this one, is probably my favorite of the list and the one I’ve been working on most recently. I almost feel proud of myself for coming up with it <3.
Despite its large similarities with one of the late entries of this list.
