Pretty sure. It's been more than a few years since Dark Dawn was released. You would think if they intended on continuing the series the sequel would be out by now.
EDIT: Yeah, Dark Dawn was released Nov. 2010, so it's been five years. I think it's safe to say that the franchise is, unfortunately, dead.

Still bogles my mind how rarely I see "Golden sun" related stuff... Specially the djinn... I mean, it's the furry fandom and it's so rare to see one of those adorable cudly balls.

I think they whould become popular if they add Isaac to smash!
I think they could add the "Djinn" as an item - my ideas
-you can unsleash him instand then it's a small attack like a pokemon
-or you save him for later - like this kirby airthingy (instant kill thing) then you can save 3 or 4
after 4 you unleash a big summon attack but saving 4 djinn whould be hard because if you take few hits you will lose one

Was thinking more on the lines of odyssey for that... Would be awesome to see that move with more modern graphics.
And the reason I really want him to get into smash is to get a new golden sun game (possibily). Dark dawn was fun but kind of meh... Relied too much on nostalgia and reused bosses a lot.
I want a new Lost age with a large world and fun host of characters :P

You know, this series needs more recognition than it gets. Golden Sun is such an awesome RPG, but I don't think Dark Dawn got enough acclaim to get them to make another. :(
If they did add him to Smash, i could kind of see him being similar to Shulk. Instead of having Backslash, he could have Cleave. Instead of changing Monado Artes, he sets a different elemental Djinn.
