I just got back from a little trip to Kenora, Ontario today. My brother and I and a friend of ours from work went there to pick up a 17 foot sail boat that my brother just bought.

In the harbor were several aircraft from the Kenora Air Service. Among them was this beautiful DHC-3 Otter!!! I'm not a huge aircraft fanatic, but I know a fair bit about planes and I can definitely appreciate the beauty in the older ones especially!

Look at it! It's gorgeous!!!!!!!! What a good looking piece of equipment!!!

This was the closest I have ever been to a float plane! Close enough to touch it and I was ecstatic!!!

This morning I watched from my seventh floor, waterfront hotel room as she taxied through the harbor to take off! I wish I could've been closer! My 300mm lens was not as good as I would've liked, but I did get some reasonable pics.

When I go back, I'm going in the morning and bringing all my camera gear to get some professional quality pics!!!
