A couple more dragons that will play an important role in my Equestria dreamscape. These two dragons along with the ones I posted yesterday Flame Hide and Stone Spines and The Mountain are what ponies refer to as Elder or Great Dragons. These are the dragons that rule over the Realm of Dragons.

When I see these, I am reminded of a single article in an old Dragon Magazine. Sturmshurs and Sorcery. Will a tank gun pierce a dragon's scales? How about an A-10 tank killer? Missles? This is one area where the varying level of Equestrian Technology comes in to focus for me. Pinky Pie has what looks like a mortar, and calls it her Party Cannon. if Equestria has Cannon, do they have smoothbore and round balls for shot or have they advanced to shaped rounds? would a shaped round pierce a dragon's scales? I would think to bring in the early Parrot Rifle, but in Equestria, it would likely been invented by an actual Parrot....
