Super-duper amazing song commission I got from
lethaldoors (which is also my first commission to get ever)! His work is amazing, go check him out and have a look at his gallery. A song commission from his side simply works like this: send a song, provide a reference, get a piece of original art! It's damn cool to see what atmospheric piece he came up with using the stuff I provided.Also, I'll mention it here as it fits right now: Sorry for my absence in terms of art. I was busy with something and right now, Dark Souls and Witcher 3 have caught my full attention... but I promise I'll try to create some art on the fly to post here.

Sorry to be off the radar for a while. I've been... feeling absolutely terrible lately. Illness. But getting better now. Wanted to see how you were doing. Nice to see you uploaded this piece yourself!
I realise that it was up to lethal to come up with the scene and the 'story' as a companion to the music, but... seeing this, have you had any more story ideas? Like why Var seems to be injured...? Where he's at...?

To be honest, I haven't. Mostly because Lethal told me what he had in mind and it was all very vague, and I want to keep it that way as something a bit more focused on the emotional aspects. Something in between hope, relief and a bit of eeriness instead of a proper story. If I had wanted something like that, I'd have gotten something different than a song commission which focuses more on emotions and symbols. I could come up with a lot of different things on the fly, but I think people can look at pieces like this and draw their own conclusions of what's going on.
So, there's no real story behind the ketchup stain, haha.
