Thus, my first attempt at using my new 9x12 Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet.
What better to kick off a new era in art, than just doodling myself. I am very pleased, and very eager to start drawing a lot more often. I'm loving the fact that I can now do something like this in 20 minutes, instead of an hour or 2.

Black, the color of darkness and night. An omen of death, but a veil to hide the terror. Night is the time at which I stir, to roam and travel the world. By moon's light, I hunt.
Grey, the color of ashes from charred remains. A tree struck by lightning and burnt to the ground, the feathery flecks of ash thrown into the wind to drift across the land, nourishing the soil as it dissolves back into the ground.
White, the color of purity and silence. A white-hot bolt of lightning striking in the night, lighting up the world to show the true colors. In Japan, white symbolizes death, but is also the pure, clean canvas from which new life is drawn.
These are my colors.

It's very awkward and strange at first, but eventually you will wonder what you ever did without one. You're off to a good start- much better than what my first attempts looked like.
