How very disappointed I was when they FINALLY showed the abbys on Wayward Pines, and they just looked like ugly people who needed a bath and had sharp teeth. In the books the abbys were huge, terrifying monsters, capable of ripping apart a car, an elk or a human with no effort. This drawing is rough, but this is how I pictured the abbys as they were portrayed in the book. I guess the TV show didn’t have the budget for decent CG monsters. :(
