I get some interesting gifts from folks, but
frilltastic took the cake imagining Drayk in a completely bizarre universe idea.Okay, so, an explanation for this guy.
Rich and powerful monarchies favor capturing shurians as slaves (particularly queendoms, as they are doubly submissive to the whims of female masters) and using them for entertainment, personal assassins and anti-assassins, and they are known as the Silent Jesters, as they wear these muzzle-like masks that are unable to be removed without special tools, preventing them from eating or drinking unless given proper authorization. The shurian's natural bone protrusions are removed via (normally brutal and traumatizing) surgery and replaced with ones made of tempered steel. They are rarely fed, but instead injected almost constantly with physically enhancing drugs, or psychoactive drugs, depending on what the Silent Jester is needed for.

Okay, new lore development, their tails are cut off due to their clumsiness with them. The queens got sick of all the bumbling shurians knocking over their priceless vases with them.
There. Fixed.
The minor errors on character/lore aside that's some pretty trippy shit I have to admit xD So props to frilltastic for trying out a fun creative take. Not an easy thing to do.

I can't help but feel a strong distaste for anyone who would do such things to shurians. I shall now go around the world and save them all! (Because no one hurts my lizard friends and gets away with it!)
And I don't like that the mask covers your adorable face! Away with the mask! (And burn the queens for chopping off their tails!)
