Smiley is indeed a Russian blue alien kitty ouo or that's what it was based off anyway.
Paradox is probably some kind of russian blue as well. I relate to them the most so both of them are vageuly russian blue inspired--although Paradox is more purpleish and white, whereas Smiley holds true to a russian blue feel, being like solid bluish gray fur colored with compact, dense fur c=

hehe sweet, russian blues are the best. :3 its kind of weird, but i feel kind of weird making a new character....i have such a strong loyalty to my russian blue x badkitty that i feel like it would be betraying him to even make a new character in case i get overly attached to them and abandon him. x.x sounds kind of sick maybe, but eh. im also in love with bengal cats, and if i were to make a new character it would probably be a bangal, but i cant really imagine being anything else but a russian blue. :3

And yeah mine's more a case of I really can't transfer to a new character very well XD Smiley's both me and not and that confuses people which is why I made Paradox but I'll never be able to truley transfer because I'm Smiley. And Smiley thus is a perfect fit. But I've been given a lot of flack about Mary Sue inserts and so forth from Smiley. The problem is, people think I've made a story about myself (Qwuedeviv) which isn't the case. I see that Smiley as a separate Smiley. But since Smiley originally started out as a silly sudden character representation of myself it sort of has two sides. And understandable while they're clear as day to me, most people don't get it and make rude assumptions. |D

But I have fdound any time I go to try and draw a character representation of myself it always has to be russian blue based XD in some capacity. I've tried a ton of other color schemes, my fav colors etc. And nothing clicked.

true dat. x is a perfect representation of me as well; i could never really "switch" fursonas, it would never work. x is my alter-ego, my imaginary friend, my shadow, my brother, my best friend, my worst enemy all rolled into one, and hes too much a part of me to be replaceable to any degree. there are a lot of things i dont like about x too, and sometimes im like "damnit, i hate this damn cat." and i wanna whip him around by the tail and throw him into the wall or something >.< ...but whatever it is i dont like about him is something about myself that i dont like and have to face somehow, even if its not apparent right away what it is that irks me about him. but like i said before, as attracted as i may be to other kinds of cats, even wish i was one sometimes, i couldnt be anything other than a russian blue - anything other than i am. ;p

i kind of figured thats how it was with Smiley, that the one in the story wasnt "your" Smiley necessarily, soo it makes perfect sense to mee. :| sorry people give you shit about it.

Now Smooleh is Smiley and Smiley is Smooleh. But when I say Smooleh when I'm dealing with pics of Smiley more peopel tend to understand I mean it in a different sense than Story Smiley. Because I call story Smiley, Smiley. XD


Hahaha XD A mary sue is a character who's like perfect and a self insert into a fandom of some sort usually. For example.
Sanika is Sonic's girlfriend, she runs 2x faster than sonic though and everyone loves her. She has no faults. Etc. XDXD

ohhh....i wondered about that, and that would have been my first guess, although i really try to reserve making judgments until i have enough information. but that makes perfect sense. ;p

......so in other words, people think you represent your character as "mary sue" and, therefore, since Smiley is your "fursona" that you must have a super high opinion of yourself and be a bitch? o.o;; ...sorry im kind of dense but I THINK I GOT IT. x3 i havent read your book yet soo i dont know exactly story Smiley, yknow, is.... other than your drawings. i do really want to read it though. :3
