In today's episode, the Master of Elfhame (posing as the squire to the Wolf Queen) goes exploring in Eastness City some more. In the process of acting as a tourist, the roebuck does get a feel for some of the distant history of the place.
A bit later, he receives some more hospitality (of a sort) from the King, but at least he does meet up with another friendly face. Bowling ball not included.

Well, these two continue to get even more tied up in each other's emotions... I do not dare wonder where this is going... Errr.. moving on... trust the Master to turn a reconnaissance mission into a book buying trip...
Our new pal, al-Grot, turns up to share drinks with his fellow outsider ... this could lead to a table turning on the hangover front of late... I am sure the Wolf Queen would like that... except I'm sure the Master would do his best to hide it from his Mistress or use his little hangover cure cantrip... I do note he did not share this with the Wolf Queen in her first experience of this state of being... I guess he did not want to spoil it for her...
The royal hall at Eastness seems to share some commonality of denizens to the hall of a certain ursine ex-royal... well ex-most things of recent times,eh?
