The glycerin may be plant based, but I'm unsure, as the maker of the base doesn't actually say if it is plant or animal based. Goat's milk is great for the skin. Super moisturizing. I've had issues with dry skin all my life until I started using goat's milk soap like these.
I personally cannot touch avocado oil, as it makes me itchy. I do have aloe and olive oil soaps too, but It still doesn't say weather or not the glycerin is plant or animal based.
If I could make my own cold process soaps, I'd totally be up for making vegan soaps for those who want them. However, I don't have the room to store any of the products needed to create said soap, nor do I have room to store them for the 6 weeks it takes to cure CP soap. Let alone space to actually make the soap.
Until I get my own place, it seems that is out of the question. Melt and pour bases are the only choice that I have at this time.

Also, just for the record, goats need to be milked on a regular basis. If a female goat isn't milked it goes into a state of incredible pain and sometimes even get infections from it.
I understand the vegan point of view of not wanting to use animal-based products, but there are some animals (like goats and chickens) who are completely unharmed by the process.

Actually no. Between the horrible battery farm conditions that most dairy animals are kept in, and the means of milking alone.... Cattle are just like humans, they don't produce milk all the time, only during or after pregnancy. So they are forcibly impregnated as soon as possible after their last birth. Males are killed immediately and females are put back into the same system as their mothers. Most are overmilked by milking machines, causing extreme discomfort as well as infection, which is why milk has so much pus in it.
I'm not saying any of this to start an argument, or to upset anyone. I just want the truth to be known.

Its strange to say that cattle don't regularly produce milk without being pregnant, because the one my mother's family had, produced milk for many long years without ever being pregnant. Same with the one my grandparents on my father's side had. Neither were ever pregnant. Both produced milk. Both had to be milked once or twice a day because without it, they would have had serious complications, as their utters can literally explode.
Big dairy farms only do it so that they can produce far more milk, and supply more cattle for the meat and dairy industry.
I dunno. Thought I'd share.
