Looks great. It takes time to turn out good things, don't be that harsh on yourself.

If we take the calender i'm working on this for 3 moths now. In reality the time spent actualy working with is maybe 3-4 days, do to everyday dutys wich leave me little time to do the job, but still I would like if i was able to focus and work more.

I draw and write, and i'm slow at both. Particuarly on writing, though. It has been six months since the last chapter i was able to put online, and the new one is still not ready. So... you know. You aren't alone in having that kind of frustration!

I sure i'm not the only one. Tough your eta least got a story writing going along with some nice illustration as well, I only draw a few pic and unable to write the story putting the pieces together.

Hes disappointed about their rules is actually not far from the truth here. I think even with utmost devotion to your ruler what the converted subjects has, they still would be unhappy with a situation that would mean your can die in any minute. Thats why the grumpy look was drawn on hes face. I want to show that this controlling mechanism what Naote use is not total, and individualism is still there even tough suppression is strong enough to make you what you must, but you not necessarily have to be happy with it. This is also based on that most subject are connected to only a smaller group directly since the mind can't focus on more, and to much noise would make work unefficient. I planed that this attribute during the ages will get much better, as the Naotean's evolve, but right now were at the beginning of things.

Take all the time you need. There's no rush at all. You'll finish it when you finish it and then it'll look amazing.

I think he's disappoint about his spine being on the outside of his body.

Looks like his spine really grew!

Yep it more like grown out than being out side. A lot has been added to this poor guys body, and since hes more like a magic caster that attribute of hes have been brought ahead. Adjusting hes body with a better mana flow meant hes spine was altered to conduct better. Yep welcome to Naotes franken labs where function is the first and looks of it is secondary... if your not aiming to make people frightened, because an partly outside spine makes people frightened.

I know that feel. I've had something that I was "going to finish this weekend!" since memorial day :P

Still, it's always worth it in the end to keep pushing forward!

Also this looks even better close up, love the twisted and alien anatomy he's got going on in his back.

I'm surprised you're able to get anything done creatively; I know I tend to shut down and stall when I'm trying to draw under pressure.

Well, it could always be worse. You could end up in a situation like my father, put off doing your tax forms for 7 years. Get your income docked from you.

Your art is your expression. You want it to be excellent, but you're also giving yourself a deadline. Focus on one or the other, not both. And, to be honest, I love it when you focus more into making your pieces excellent.

Yay some one noticed. I first draw a weird staff, than when i did all the snakes in this picture i figured i change the staff head to a cobra, than coloring it to gold, bam Jaffar's staff of evil mindcontroling.

Not really, hes head with the big jaw line and low skull already gives a serous look to this fella, than I only need to draw hes mouth to point downwards and bam, disappointed look done.
