I saw her take off once, back in Florida. Absolutely amazing experience.

Time and again there's ideas to get them back in the air, none ever happen, sadly. I'd like to see new ones made, perhaps slightly revised with modern technology. There's one that's parked as a display piece outside of an airport, up on support struts. One of the greatest achievements ever, a machine that travels so fast it can outrun the rotation of the Earth, and outrun time itself, yet still carry ordinary passengers, in ordinary clothes, in comfort, and it's just propped up on poles, as nothing more than a decoration. It's such a shame.

Damn straight. It's an icon, and they should have at least one flyable example left.
