This submission qualifies as a wing-it in my book. I arranged a small list of characters for Kae to pick from and told her to surprise me. And amusingly enough, the result is actually cannon for that character. :)
Schools go into all kinds of details about evolution. They may not know how it works, but what they know about the effects could fill encyclopedias. But this doesn't change that fact that evolution is never the same from one 'mon to the next even if they are both the same species.
It is in these times that a recently evolved 'mon may wish that their new body came with an owner's manual.
Tracey certainly wishes her new body had such a manual. It has a longer tail she can't control nearly as easily as her old one due to its more prehensile nature. And because she can't control it yet and exasperated by her slow adaption curve, her tail likes to curl around her feet and often results in an undignified faceplant.
The old gal should ask her son how he dealt with his tail after he became a raichu...and get some feedback from others of her species about dealing with this little problem of hers.

I did indeed. I want to whiteboard them first. I also want to get a baby shower crash scene done for the Ternary Polarity story, but multiple-character commissions are not cheap. :/ I intend to keep that promise and to an extent I have...so far. She's featured in one of the two images of the day she became a grandmother in her old pika body. I need to do another...but I really do need to get the money together. One thing at a time. >_>
If you want to talk about it, notes are fine. Or an IM.

Thanks. You know, it's not really the orange fur that feels off, it's really the yellow cheeks. It just doesn't sit right with Tracey at all, especially if you compare her current design with the old design and Crovirus' drawing of Tracey.

Also the V-shaped tail looked so cute on her.

Yeah I remember that old one. But times change, people get a bit clumsy. May consider having a callback in the form of fur dye, but that would be quite a hassle to apply. Still want me to leave it marked down one level if you want to read the ministory with it at another time?
