Been too long since I've posted something, so here's some more Krystal. :)
Yep, I decided to make another redesign, this time giving her a more casual look (with a holster of course.) I tried imagining how Cerinian fashion might look, so I borrowed some elements from her Adventures outfit like the triangle designs. But I wanted to give her something new and distinct too. That's where those curved metal pieces come into play. I also wondered if her tattoos being out in the open would somehow mark her to anyone against Cerinia. After all, it was implied that Andross had something to do with Cerinia's destruction. Who's to say they didn't make a lot of enemies?
This was done fairly quick, so I apologize if the pose isn't very exciting or if there are some anatomy errors floating around.
So, tell me what you guys and gals think!

I'm no Krystal expert, but I know what I like- and I like this.
There's a lot of Krystal porn on FA, but not a lot of actual costume designs, which is REALLY unfortunate. There's a lot of material and potential there to be explored.
I do like this- I presume it's somewhat Korra related? It reminds me of Korra for some reason...

But, I'm glad you enjoyed this! And I agree. There's a lot of untapped potential there. But it can be tough to come up with a solid idea, especially because of how little we know about where she comes from.
Hmm...I don't think I was thinking about Korra when I drew this. But I can see what you mean there. She looks like she could fit in with Republic City.
