Stephen's shoes began to tear as his feet began to change, flesh hardening and toes fusing much like his hands. With a final rip, his pants and his shoes fell apart, revealing new hooves on his feet. Philwas just a few steps behind, his belly pushing out into an udder and his pants ripping as he grew his own tail.
