I let out an inhuman, deep, eager groan, clawing at the carpet and bobbing my rear end in the air as the split seams in the seat of my shorts ripped open even more, and with a small roar that slipped from my throat, I pushed, and it finally gave, letting my huge, fast growing tail spill out, and bulk up in thickness and length within seconds... God I loved that part...
I couldn't help but purr a reptile groan in approval, whipping it through the air happily as the last snaps and cracks resonated from my skull, hmy gator-muzzle complete, and in my periphreal vision when i slighly opened my eyes. I rolled my thick tongue over the razor sharp teeth inside my thick reptilian muzzle.
I remained on all fours for awhile, happily and carelessly drooling in a post-change state of euphoria. A stupid, toothy grin was on my face as I lazily unclenched the carpet, and snaked my massive tail on the soft carpet.
It felt really good to be a gator again...
A commissioned sketch drawn by the marvelous and talented Kyrio, which he graciously let me line and color, which was VERY educational! Thanks a whole bunch! ^^

A little late to this party but if you think about it pain is a product of your body telling you something is wrong now if the transformation isn't doing any physical harm and just changing shape than there really would be no reason as to why nerves would call the transformation painful when a snake sheds his skin it isn't in pain it just got bigger even though in most normal circumstances ripping the whole skin off its body would be rather painful
This masterpiece of a drawing remains one of my all-time favorite gator tfs on this site and inspired me to draw a tribute of sorts: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44280495/
