I'm gonna post some of my old art because a lot of it is really cool, even if the execution isnt as polished as my work now.
This robot is a all terrain material collector, able to take in small samples as well as carry large heavy objects such as logs or boulders. Its auxiliary arms can be used independently or in tandem with the main arms as stabilizers of larger samples. The optical structure has 6 points of articulation and can be brought into a protective "hood" that closes it off from damaging weather conditions or potential vandals/attackers.
