Well the thing is we went to one table, and boyfee asked me if I wanted to hold one and i'm like NOPE NO GOD NO I AM ON THE BORDERLINE OF HAVING A PANIC ATTACK NO TOO MANY LEGS
But by the end of the expo we were at another table and the one older lady had her own pet tarantula out and going on about how sweet he was, and the guy working there obviously saw i was looking and a little curious so he asked if I wanted to hold one, and I admitted I was terrified
so he got his most tame girl out and got her out onto his hand first to show me that all she does is sit there
doesn't raise her stompers or kick or anything
so after a few minutes, shakily I asked if I could hold her and
ta da
i did it!
i shook like crazy but I did it!!

She was so sweet
she literally just sat there for nearly 20 minutes in my hands. Didn't even scuttle about.
It was the easiest transition. I don't know if I'll go holding another any time soon but it was a really great experience!
