Reign doesn't often swim when he goes to the beach. In fact, it is a rare day he visits the beach at all, much less swim. The days he does usually involve him being relatively alone, when he doesn't have to keep an eye out for kids (and his waistline), and when the weather is a bit overcast so as to not be too hot. Still, on the days he does visit the beach, he has a good time, and regrets having to let the sand go from between his toes when he leaves.
Of course, he could magically construct a small beach at his apartment, with a false ''sea'' by it, but knowing his family, Alek would find a way to make it a nude one. Alek always managed to get in somehow.
Still, when he comes to the beach alone on a slightly overcast day, and it's just right, it's hard for him to go home. He needs just a bit more sand between his toes.
When Ivy posted offers for flats commissions, I was interested and got an image of Reign, one of my fursonna's cousins, and paid a bit extra past what was asked because I knew I'd get quality. What she gave me blew my expectations out of the water in all areas - instead of a sandy void I got sand; Reign's pose and build is far more natural than I thought it would be; and the colors are fucking awesome, especially with the different blues.
