For a long time I've had a curious brain-prompt nagging at me whenever I went into the maintenance shack. Something in there was nudging my mind a little, but never hard enough to figure out what it was - until it finally hit me. Wonder why I never caught it before? The boxes of machine parts say "Borg-Warner" on them! (There really is such a company, BTW.) I immediately imagined the Animaniacs in the guise of those tech-laden cybernasties from the Star Trek universe and before I knew it I had sketched this out. I dunno if I will go any farther with the idea (I'm almost certain it's been done before now!)but it was far too appropriate a play on words to ignore. And I have to say, Dot would make for a very interesting Borg Queen!
