I know I'm a little late for saying this But I absolutely love your logo! Did you know what you wanted design wise right away or did you have to do a lot of brainstorming to get it just right? I'm in the process of trying to start thinking about a logo (though it'll be more for fun/to be more professional though i doubt I'll be taking commissions really anytime soon heh) and just looking for some insight on it. I'm studying graphic design and I hope something I come up with turns out half as good! :)
Thank you! I wasn't sure what I wanted at first at all. I went through sketching a multitude of different designs and it took me a decent while to come up with something I was happy with. I found it helpful to make a list of motifs/colours/fonts/themes I liked and attempted to amalgamate one from there. Can't say what really lead me to this design overall- it kind of just happened! The use of the paw was inspired by by main account's username though- 8Bit-Paws, and integrating the 8 into it was just something I came up with.
