Hmm...have you ever tried foil scraping? An image like this could scarcely be more perfect for that medium.

This is so beautiful!

I wish it would snow more often where I live. We're lucky to see it 2 or 3 times a winter. AND we're lucky if it sticks!

This is lovely. The simplicity and contrast of the whole piece really portrays the right kind of emotion one gets at the sight of the season's first snow. Very nice.

Beautiful! We're still waiting for our first snow. It's snowed in the mountains, but not down here. Halloween, we had temps in the 70's. Usually it snows by then. Silly Colorado!

That's so gorgeous! Such expression by just a few strokes of the brush, at least it looks like that, painted what was necessary and the rest fits in the dark night and the falling snow...
