I started working on my own original specie and this is how it's going so far :)
Sanya is the very first specimen of still-thinking-of-name. She's based on rabbit (face and ears), deer (horns and (far-fetched, I know) marking) and scorpion (tail). She can secrete venom from her tail and antidote for it from her lips which makes her a very dangerous partner. >]
The tail can change in length, so she can have a better grip on herprey partner.

Oooohhh gooooddddd o.o I think a better explanation for it being able to change length is parts are able to fall off and the outward most bit left will become the stinger. That'd be cool because then if you ever used them for a story or a roleplay, or if anyone else did, people could find the little sections of tail, which would be super cool, because poison would be stored inside.
