My part of an aceo trade with  vorndess It took me a while to get started, as well as to finish it, but after she created such a kickass card for me I really really wanted this to be worth it for her.

She namef several ages that were of interest for her and I picked the Victorian time. Googling for clothing and architecture references I stumbled over the mansion in the background. And as for the dress... I am sure black would have been the preferred colour, but according to my knowledge black was reserved for widows and gouvernesses in that time. And gouvernesses were dressed rather... plain. ;) So I thought mauve/ lilac might be a good alternative.

I really don't draw enough domesticated cats... o.o
