
Just a test on coloring... It failed for the first time so I had to redo it again...

Well, I'd explain it first and then you can contact me later if you don't understand...
First, start off with a nice 'dark' background color... If you're painting grey, use dimmed grey color that's almost black... Paint the whole area with the darker color that you want to paint in grey...
Next, pick up your paint brush... (I'd recommended oC because the paintbrush is great on that program...) and start sliding things according to the light position... If the light is above head, then slide it from the upper to the lower... If it's from below, then slide from the lower to upper... The brush should be small, if you're painting furs... You should change size according to the object your painting...
Fur - small >> Cloth - A bit bigger >> Solid rock - Medium size...
The size gives you the details...
When you slide the smaller brush, it blends along with the background so that there are automatically some shadows that give you details...
The idea is to let the background dark and then light up some parts that light shines to...
