I've been wanting to comment on this for a while, only now I found the time ^-^;. I really like the way you draw your characters the poses and anatomy are very fluid and natural, not to say the expression that totally matches the character's mood and context. My favorite part on this one is the white balance on the right places and her clothing design. Splendid job =)
This is back from when I was just attempting expressions. They are still hard for me, and muzzles too in general. I tend to draw poses with "resting bitch face" or a blank expression. When I modeled I also did this so its likely just trained habit. I draw my concept with often a circle where the head will be with a overdone smily face for the mood. LOL I've always had a hard time with anthro being I did anime far too long, but as a life model I was used to drawing fluid poses and used my notes and images from that time. I also sometimes skimp on bargain pieces on the hands because I admit so so lazy. Bad habit!
I know well the struggle with expression, specially when the face & muzzle is on front view. I think that for this one you succeeded remarkably though, her expression is lovely, seems almost like she is greeting the viewer =).
Didn't know you were a model, it must require a lot of courage to pose for other people, I'd be terrified if I had to xD. A while ago I used to draw faces the way you mentioned, starting with a circle for the head and working the details inside it, now I usually start with the eyes before anything else, helps setting up the idea for the character's expression I believe =). Beyond everything you said about being lazy, I think your drawings are great, specially those with custom clothing designs. I look forward for your next creations =).

Modeling is a lot of fun, I don't do much now because I am out in the woods with no way to personally show up to a gig easy since I do not drive. It was my profession before actually doing art that wasn't ahem anime =3=
For my early years in college I did fine art nudes too, and a bit of not working now is just being older and tired of slogging though creeps pretending to be artists or photographers. I had thought about doing a modeling option like a patreon perk of offering pose sessions but I can't really stream with our country DSL hehe. One time I even thought about drawing nude or in sexy clothes just to advertise the art (when I was much younger and more carefree), but I was more nervous about doing art live than sitting nude LOL. I am still very shy about doing art and being watched, but being nude, eh.
When I pose for friends I tell them to pose me, or tell me to move because with my glasses off I can't see anything. In classes that is helpful too, its bad form to touch models, but I tell them I prefer it if they want a particular pose or tension/using muscles. I am super flexible from doing yoga with my dad since I was a kid, so I can hold some odd poses for a long time with ease. But I tend to personally slackjaw or zone out because I can't see anything XD
I used to start with eyes but stopped and now do the head position and direction then the eyes. But expressions are a challenge. I am forever envious of toony artists. I was strictly trained to not animate = realism
I love the clothes and my hobby is design. I thought about designing fursuit fashion when I was still going to cons and I would bring a huge trunk of clothes for my friends to raid and wander in.
