I'm just thinking about the difficulty of advertising art while keeping it out of view from people who haven't paid.
Give too little, there is no incentive. Give too much, people can fill in the blanks on their own.. and then there needs to be enough confidence in the artist to be willing to pay for something they can only guess at.
I can't imagine I'd be able to handle it intelligently.

Scaler was a heavilly underrated game. uwu I remember playing it years ago, in love with the monsters, the worlds, the art and music. The story was good imo up until the end, I feel like it could have used more, ya know?

yeah his design inspiration played off scaler quite a bit! And yes the story ending was terrible. I even collected all the golden orbs and the ending only got a tiny bit better. But it didn't matter to me. I was in love with the design of the world, Gosh was it gorgeous and shape shifting lizard heck yeah. Thus it is the reason optric has many of the same traits!
